To gently guide individuals towards holistic well-being, focusing on the integration of mind, body, and soul to create a life of balance, health, and inner peace.
My journey..
I am infinitely passionate about my own health and wellness, which has now become a pivotal focus for parenting and mentoring to my own children. I LOVE to eat good food, cooked with intention and love, using ethically sourced produce which makes my body feel joyous and alive!
It is for this reason that I embarked on a dream baby I had been imagining for many years, by opening my own whole foods cafe called Soul. It is within these retro walls, where I danced with a coffee machine every morning and delighted in researching and serving the most incredible wholefood creations, whilst marrying my passion of interior design and delicious, intimate conversations with customers from all over the state. It is one of the most joyous moments of my career, paired with the most amount of stress and burnout I have ever experienced in my entire life.
Whilst servicing the community through health and wellness, ensuring they had a nourishing space to retreat and gather, the ironic part was I was compromising my own health in order to fulfil this role. My health and family suffered for this commitment, so it was time to move into a role where I could both share my love of wellness and be present as a mother.
After selling my little cafe, our family of 6 flew to India so I could tick another bucket list item off my list, by completing my 200hr Ashtanga Teacher Training. I LOVE to move my body, and although I have never been a high performing athlete, I pride myself on my flexibility and determination to succeed in endeavours which push my body to it's edges
Still breastfeeding my 9 month year old, and still very much in my post partum body after 4 consecutive births in 4 years, I felt ready to see what this body was made of!
She did not disappoint, and with 4 weeks of 12 hour days of devoted practice and theory, I was head standing and bending like my 19 year old self. I felt incredible! Invincible! So incredibly proud of how our bodies are so capable if we dedicate love, time, devotion and belief in what she can achieve.
And then it began... A short time after returning home, I began to experience major discomfort in my knee and shoulder. At the age of 36, I had never visited a physiotherapist, chiropractor or kineisiologist, and I found myself reaching out to all avenues of healthcare which would support me in my recovery.
It was a gentle, slow 6 months of care to repair the damage I had done to my "19" year old body, and a beautiful reminder that my body had changed. Although she may like to bend into pretzels, I may need to take into account the length at which she can go, in given periods of time
As much as I love yoga, meditation and physical movement, my heart kept leading me back to food, and it was in 2020 in which I finally signed up to undertake my 2nd Degree - a double Bachelor of Health Science - Majoring in Nutritional and Dietetic Medicine and Naturopathy.
Whilst leaning into this degree part-time, I have been fulfilling my heart with a little business I created called Food Remedy. Food Remedy is where I can not only get creative in the kitchen, but where my heart is lit up connecting with so many incredible soul's, through nourishing guests on retreats and festivals all around the world.

At the end of 2022 I couldn't even get out of bed most days. I was waking up every day overwhelmed with fatigue, and would often spend 3-4 hours through the day "napping" just to get through.
I withdrew from one of my university units, as I couldn't spend more than 30 minutes at a computer screen without feeling like going to sleep, and I found myself reading the same pages over and over again, without retaining any of the information.
Among these symptoms I was also experiencing muscle fatigue, anxiety, heart palpitations, breathlessness, a constant dull headache, pins and needles in my feet and hands, and desperately needing to eat every 2 hours, otherwise I would have no energy at all.
My doctor was ready to diagnose me with chronic fatigue, which is an incurable syndrome which can only be managed rather than cured, but I was not ready to give up.
Every waking moment I had, I researched natural remedies to reduce the symptoms of fatigue, to improve my energy, motivation, cognitive function, muscle strength, mood and most of all, my sparkle.
12 months of devotion to my practice of self love. A whole year of slow days with a reduced schedule, to allow for rest, nourishment, gentle movement, nervous system recalibration and implementing practices which have bought me home to my heart, my soul and my physical body
Not all wellness journey's are linear. We all ebb and flow with the seasons, often prioritising our health until it is in great form, and as we reach our peak it is common to be distracted by the motions of life, where a health reminder presents itself to remind us to be in constant care of our inner garden.
It is not easy. It does not always look the same. It is a forever work of art, which needs our love, devotion and practice to master.
It is through our struggles where we learn what means the most to us.
Our health truely is life itself. Because without it, what is left. So, the question remains, "What are you going to do with this one, wild and precious life".
